Mise à jour sur les problèmes d'ascenseur

Suite à la visite du technicien cet après-midi, voici son diagnostic.

Le problème de l’ouverture /de la fermeture de la porte d’ascenseur est causé par le moteur d’ouverture de porte. Il est situé sur le toit de la cabine d’ascenseur. Ce moteur est indépendant du moteur sur le toit qui fait monter et descendre l’ascenseur.

Le moteur d’ouverture de porte est très fatigué après 25 ans de service.  Il est incapable d'ouvrir la porte complètement. Il doit être changé ou réparé.

Ce soir, le technicien nous a informé que les pièces pour la réparation seraient disponibles demain (vendredi). Nous espérons que nous retrouverons un ascenseur fonctionnel au cours de la journée de vendredi

Following the technician's visit this afternoon, here is his diagnosis. The problem with the elevator door opening/closing is caused by the door opening motor.

It is located on the roof of the elevator car. This motor is independent of the motor on the building's roof that raises and lowers the elevator. The door opening motor is very worn after 25 years of services. The motor is unable to open the door completely. It needs to be replaced or repaired.

This evening, the technician informed us that the parts for the repair would be available tomorrow (Friday). We hope to have a working elevator again sometime on Friday.
